Why Hurricane Havoc


MISSION STATEMENT

Hurricane Havoc’s mission is to save lives, reduce property damage, and build community resilience by providing hurricane preparedness information, resources and support in hurricane prone areas, with a focus on independently living seniors and disabled persons.

We are a non-profit, dedicated to expanding its reach and impact over the next five years through strategic collaborations, sponsorships and partnerships. By leveraging contributions, we will distribute multilingual hurricane preparedness checklists, compile and maintain a database of accessible emergency shelters, provide branded hurricane preparedness kits, assist coastal communities in self assessments and   collaborate property securing and evacuation assistance programs for seniors and disabled individuals.


2025 FOUNDATION GOALS

For seniors and disabled in the gulf states and territories, within 100 miles along the coast.

  1. 2025 Distribute cultivated, multilingual preparedness checklists in various modalities.
  2. 2026 – Research, produce, maintain and distribute, an emergency shelter database of facilities that are senior, ADA and pet friendly.
  3. 2027 – Create and distribute branded hurricane preparedness kits.
  4. 2028 – Provide community assessment checklists and host leadership forums.
  5. 2029 – Collaborate and organize the securing and transportation to evacuate homes with pets 
  6. 2030 – Expand the resources and demographic
